Current mood: gloomy

Snow is bad, bad, BAD.
The good news is that I am fine. And so is the other guy.

The bad news is that my poor car needs an expensive amount of repair work after having been struck by another car on the highway.

It wasn't my fault, but it really wasn't the other guy's fault either. The road just got really slick, really fast, and he lost control of his car and ran into me. Accidents happen.

Accidents totally stink.

So I didn't make it up to Salem. I didn't see my True Love. He hasn't called yet, and I have no way to tell him what's going on. My poor car is hurt, and it will be a few days before the insurance company gets back to me. Bah, humbug.

I know that I am very lucky, but I don't feel lucky at all.

Fortunately, my mom is here to give me a hug.

Jeez, I miss Blake...

Stupid snow.

*sigh*

Bummer! Sorry to hear that the snow got that far south and snarled things up for you too. It's sub-freezing here, and for once I'm really glad I'm telecommuting. Would be nice if the house thermostat hadn't quit though. Fortunately, between the space heaters and the gas stove in the mid-level, we're managing to keep tolerably warm, at least.

*HUGS*

Oh honey. *HUG*

If I happen to hear from him first, I'll tell him what happened.

hate to say it, but if he lost control of his car, then, well, it *was* his fault. And that's certainly how his insurance company will see it. Which is a plus, in a way, because it means you won't have to be the one to pay for any of that expensive repair (and nor will your insurance company).

Let me know if you need any help on how to navigate the insurance claims system.

Jenn, been thinking about you, and I'm very, very happy that you are okay. Would send a virtual hug if it didn't sound so sappy coming from me *g*. But I'll risk sappy and send it anyway. And an extra one from Gorgeous Glender...

Yah, snow is stupid, especially when it runs in droves. Be careful out there, everyone, eh?

EEEEEEEEEP!

*hugs you*

I'm glad you are ok. And also, what are you doing with my snow? It's supposed to be over here and not over there. Hopefully the insurance company will pay for the car repair. *crosses fingers*
